PHP Developer- South London-25-35k

I get it. The life of a PHP Dev is spent working thanklessly on projects and then whilst your not in work you are being bombarded by recruiters about NEW AMAZING ROLES!! APPLY NOW!!

Why is it good role though? Why should I leave this role for another? There is an element of risk there, what if it's not as great as the recruiter says it is? No job is a bed of roses. So let me tell you the good and the bad. Oh and before we start we will accept grads straight out of uni.

Let's start with the good...

*You will be working as part of a 7 strong development team who have a vast amount of experience and can help develop your skills to the next level.

*They are looking to double this team in the next year meaning huge opportunities for progression into a team leader position.

*You won't be left alone in the role you will be buddied up with a senior member of the team to help you settle in and learn the ropes.

*You will also work with AWS, which is a hugely desirable skill set.

*The boss is a nice person. I know that makes a big difference.

What's the bad stuff?

*You will be working with legacy systems- I know your sick of it but you will be working on developing these into brand new shiny up to date systems!

*It's not just back end as there will be front-end development using HTML, CSS and Javascript.

*You will work hard- But you will also be rewarded for that!

In conclusion

It's not some Utopia but you will be working with cloud technologies but part of a growing team and be treated well. If you're not getting that at your current place you might want to think about pressing that apply button...APPLY NOW! (I'm joking...sorta)
