Purpose:

What more could you want from a role, than to travel around various continents, taking responsibility for the preparation, maintenance and shipping of some of the most admired vehicles in the market, for media events, region events, test drives, demonstrations, photoshoots and other fun events such as Goodwood Festival of Speed?

If you are looking for a new opportunity that will push you to further enhance and develop your customer facing and planning skills, working with internal customers, journalists and other media professionals, then you should read on.

You will be responsible for the planning of each month?s event, responding to all requests and delivering consistently on time to ambition requests and deadlines. In addition to this you will be supported by 2 x Engineers (sharing the travelling responsibility), to manage all vehicle specifications, vehicle sign off, vehicle preparation including software and vehicle legislation requirements. Furthermore, you will be involved with the day to day running of the workshop, working with Technicians to ensure operations run smoothly and correctly.

To be considered for this role, you should have vast experience and knowledge of vehicle systems, including mechanical and electrical. You may have previous experience in a similar role, you may have a background in vehicle development or motorsports (track performance). You should be educated to Degree level in a suitable engineering discipline ? mechanical, automotive or motorsports.

To be successful in this role, you will need to act in the upmost professional manner at all times and have the capability of representing a world class brand. In addition to this, it goes without saying that you should have exceptional interpersonal skills and be confident to communicate to your team and liaising with the media.

In addition, we will help support you in this role by providing vehicle tools training (monaco systems, vector tools etc). More excitingly, we will also provide you with the opportunity to obtain a McLaren vehicle driving B permit license (high speed training).
