Working Job Title: Technical / Building Auditor

Corporate Job Capsule: SQUL31 Reports to : Technical/ Building Auditor Lead

Location: Field Based with extensive travel ? Swindon min bi-weekly

2. Qualifications, Experience and Skills

Essential:

  • Educated to a minimum HNC level in a technical discipline relevant to FM
  • Suitable & sufficient broad FM management related experience
  • Proven H&S competency
  • Qualified ? Minimum NEBOSH General Certificate
  • Technical report writing skills
  • Understanding of building compliance & legislation
  • Intermediate IT skills in MS Office including Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Hold or ability to pass CTC security clearance
  • Certificated Lead Auditor

  • Educated to degree level, preferably within a relevant H&S technical discipline
  • Associated professional membership in an appropriate discipline

  • ISO19011 achievement in auditing skill

  • ISO18001 achievement in auditing skill

  • Experience of auditing FM related services
  • Certificated Lead Auditor

Experience & Skills:

A minimum of five years? experience working within an FM or H&S based discipline within both an operational capacity. Have a proven ability to provide technical assistance to both technical and non-technical persons within the identified discipline. Ability to successfully manage time keeping and work content working as an individual and as part of a small technical team within tight deadlines.

3. Core Responsibilities and Duties

The Technical/ Building Auditor is part of an auditing team which are field based providing quality assurance, supplier management, asset review and cost assessment services across multiple contracts

  • Deputise for the Technical/ Building Asset Lead where necessary
  • Monitor own performance and report areas requiring support
  • Maintain KPI measures
  • Ensure audits are carried out to schedule
  • Provide a coordinated audit service minimising disruption to client operational activities
  • Review customer perception results from site in conjunction with audit findings
  • Support operational teams in their liaison with client representatives
  • Liaison with clients to develop relationships and understand business requirements
  • Review and report own requirements for ad hoc training on an as required basis
  • Responsible for own H&S and that of your colleagues
  • Lead the Audit Team in the enhancement of systems and procedures to the benefit of KBR and the client
  • Assist with the continuous development of the audit team and the KBR Integrator
  • Develop and promote a clear understanding of KBR activities and requirements in order to provide a best in class knowledgeable service
  • Ensure that at all times the image of the provision of services reflects the professional image of KBR and strive to continually improve the perception of the company
  • Assist with the implementation of business continuity and disaster recovery plans

Competencies:

  • Educated and experienced at an operational level in a technical discipline relevant to FM
  • Suitable & sufficient broad FM management related experience to allow for assessment of other FM services outside of specialist discipline
  • Ability to follow and assess H&S competency with documentary processes for both personal and others
  • Technical report writing skills
  • Understanding of building compliance & legislation
  • Intermediate IT skills in MS Office including Excel, Word and Outlook
