Examination Invigilators required in Staffordshire £8.41/hour

Your new company
You will be working in a school in the Staffordshire area.

Your new role
Working as an exam invigilator it is your job to ensure all exams are conducted in accordance with current regulations. In your role you will be required to support the Exam Officer and the rest of the Examination team throughout the examination period. This could include; assisting with the day to day operations at the examination venues upholding the integrity or the process, for instance ensuring only the specific requirements for the particular exam are in the students possession; you will be expected to distribute the examination materials prior to the exam, and also collect the papers post exam; you will be also be supervising the students throughout the exam ensuring all students have equal opportunities and reporting any discrepancies or irregularities back to the examination officer. It is essential to be vigilant whilst supervising the exam whilst also ensuring you do not disrupt the students in the process. As an exam invigilator you will likely be working on an 'as required' basis.

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role it is essential you have good oral and written communication skills as well as a good level of the English language. You need to have a good knowledge of the examination process. Ideally you will have previous experience working as an exam invigilator, otherwise you need to have experience working within a similar role. You will need to be cleared to work in a school in line with current regulations including a DBS check and Childrens Barred List Check.
