Bid Support Analyst / Retail Software Consultant
Are you a Consultant with knowledge of Retail IT Systems / Software who is fed up of travelling and working away? This could be the role for you!
What does the day to day look like :-
Ensuring the right SME has been contacted regarding the customer requirements. Document these requirements and estimations into a formal document, checking this against legal obligations and the right pricing. Reading requirements and request for estimate, planning who needs to be involved, gathering and coordinating those people to get the right details for the estimate. Pull it all together into a template and then deliver back to the person who has requested the estimate.
Dig in to the detail of complex solutions to get a better understanding.
Occasionally you may need to engage the client directly, I.E small requests for change, mainly to gather more information on that requirement.
What skills do you need to be successful :-
Must have strong communication skills. Happy to challenge internal team members to gather the information needed.
Must have good attention to detail as these are contractual documents.
Must be comfortable in asking questions and develop a thirst for knowledge. Be able to take a high level statement and come up with the estimation by understanding how that request links in to other products and services.
Contract writing experience would be a bonus.
No travel involved.
Can be based out of either West Bromwich or Marlow.
