Software Engineer - Startup Environment
Software Engineer - Norwich - Salary up to £40,000
Tech partners are working exclusively with an exciting new hi-tech start-up business specialising in geo-spatial and positioning software who aim to disrupt the sector with a host of new products. The business are hoping to bring onboard a further software engineer with a strong mathematics background to add to the talented existing team. As a result, you will get the opportunity to be part of a fast-paced disruptive hi-tech business with a start-up feel, but with the security of a larger firm behind the scenes.
The role offers a rare and exciting opportunity for ambitious and creative software engineers, who want to work on real-world software engineering projects at the 'sharp-end' of the software industry. This is by no-means your run-of-the-mill web developer role, but a problem-solving, analytical multi-language development opportunity working within a cloud development platform.
Examples of experience that would be useful include:
- Web API
- Strong Maths / Physics
- Full software development lifecycle experience
- Agile (ish) development experience.
The successful candidate will form part of a specialised team of intelligent software engineers working on state-of-the-art code, in a purpose built new office in the heart of the city. Whoever secures the role, will be 'in on the ground floor' of a business set to make waves within an exciting space. If you want to work on interesting software problems, in a nice environment, with great career potential - this could be the perfect next role for you.
If you'd like to know more about the role, please apply with a current CV, or contact Tom Gosney who is consultant dealing with the account.
N.B if you are a graduate with some but not all of the above experiences please do also get in contact, as the business are building a full team consequently there may well be other opportunities available.
