Finding a supportive school and a learning support assistant role where you can make a positive change whilst gaining great training and development can be difficult.

This highly regarded school has a history of offering rewarding opportunities in learning support assistant roles. This position will be to work with a Year 2 boy who is full of energy and a very happy learner. The statement for this young man includes ASD and dyspraxia.

There is no manual lifting required, the dyspraxia needs are minimal. Only when this young man has been in a position for 10 minutes or more does he need help rebalancing. Once he is on his feet you will do well to keep up.

The school is a traditionally appointed village-type Primary School has been sympathetically updated over the last few years. The school has retained its original charm whilst keeping up with the needs of the modern curriculum.

This young learner is a real charmer and you will soon understand how this cheeky chap is so well liked in the class and around the school. You will be a part of an energetic and positive team and you will liaise with the class teacher and the school SENCo in order to keep ahead of this young man's needs. With training and guidance you will also liaise with the pupils parents - they are both very dedicated to the progress of their son and always positive in their interaction with the school.
