Associate Director Communications and Stakeholder Relations
Our client - Qualifications Wales is creating a new Associate Director role to lead and draw together their Communications, Stakeholder engagement and schools / colleges support functions.
We are seeking a candidate with strong proven leadership skills and the ability to think creatively and strategically to develop a compelling narrative about our work and our role in the qualifications system.
You will enjoy making complex technical areas of work easy to understand for stakeholders and media. You will be used to managing teams who work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
This is an exciting opportunity for you to join a committed and dynamic team of engaged employees. The successful candidate will be part of the senior team and will have a leadership role across the organisation as well as motivating and developing existing communications teams.
The office environment reflects the organisation - it is bright, open and flexible in terms of IT and working styles, they are based in Newport, South Wales.
Qualifications Wales is the independent regulator of qualifications and the qualification system in Wales. It is a Welsh Government Sponsored Body, established in 2015 and responsible for ensuring that qualifications and the qualifications system are effective in meeting the reasonable needs of learners in Wales, and for promoting public confidence in these.
Relocation costs up to a maximum of £8,000 may be available.
