Opun are currently recruiting for an experienced and innovative Data Manager to work in collaboration with various stakeholders across the business to develop, manage, and track data efficiency to help drive the business.

Based from our offices in London Bridge, as the Data Manager you will be responsible for;

  • Commission data quality measurements against data definitions and business roles, enabling full performance monitoring of data admin activities
  • Analysing and reporting on data quality and requirements across the business
  • Creation and maintenance of the master data map, adding to the dataset, ensuring correct tests and agreeing accountable stakeholders
  • Put in place improvement initiatives to ensure MI reporting is of the right standard
  • Ensure data is compliant with data protection regulations including GDPR
  • Drive continuous improvement through analysis and best practice as a source of improvement, as well as suggesting solutions to data risks
  • Develop and deliver training to improve business stakeholder?s awareness of data management

The ideal candidate;

  • Will be proficient in MS SQL, and have proven experience of SSRS
  • Will be advanced in Excel
  • Can work independently as well as part of a team
  • Has experience operating within Data Management function
  • Has a proven track record of taking responsibility for decisions and assurance across complex changes
  • Understands the importance of confidentiality and have a sensitive approach to your work and others
  • Has excellent communication skills, diligent and analytical
  • Experience across the following would be desirable: My SQL, MS SQL, PostgreSQL, Power Bi, Tableau BI
  • Will be happy with regular travel to our offices in Gatwick and Stoke on Trent
