We`re looking for an experienced and ambitious Digital Optimisation Manager (targeting & re-targeting) for a well-known brand with offices in Bristol and London. The role can be based in either location. This is a rare opportunity to join a household name brand with a cutting edge digital team. We`re looking for somebody with a good grounding in targeting and re-targeting but there`s still loads of room to develop and grow in the role. The experience we need.

- The perfect candidate will have worked for a big brand before, perhaps in retail, eCommerce, telco or financial services, and will have experience of tools such as Adobe Target, Optimizely and/or Maximizer (or similar).
- Demonstrable experience in a digital or offline direct response campaign management role.
- A track record of successfully managing direct response activities and delivering against sales targets - both personally and through a team.
- Experience measuring online campaigns and a full understanding of the range of metrics used to judge sales and customer success.
- Experience of onsite test/learn techniques with knowledge of other areas of performance marketing preferred.
- Strong results orientation with the ability to focus on project goals and meet objectives within a time frame.
- Analytical and numerate, able to analyse MI and performance reporting and convey messages clearly and concisely to a senior audience.
- Ability to work independently and take a proactive approach to working, in addition to working within a team and cross-functional environment.
- Excellent written & verbal communication skills
- Proactive, innovative and open minded approach with an appetite to learn
- Detail oriented with problem solving attitude

- Strong multi-tasking capability with an ability to deliver to tight deadlines

The role.

- Support the manager in the articulation of strategic objectives for re-targeting and targeting optimisation for the eCommerce team. Manage day-to-day tactical activities which form the strategic objectives.
- Assisting the manager with day-to-day performance of onsite targeting and offsite re-targeting. Working closely with teams across the wider marketing function to achieve this.
- Day to day relationship management with third party agencies to support optimisation & targeting activities - such as re-targeting programmatic or onsite optimisation & testing agencies.
- Serve as an evangelist for targeting, re-targeting and optimisation across the company, working with cross-functional teams to instil best practices, update processes and improve communication.
- Deputise for manager as required.
