I have a fantastic opportunity for an Project Analyst to join a growing financial services organisation based in Edinburgh. You will work alongside and support Project Manager to co-ordinate and control the delivery of small to medium change projects to ensure the delivery of IT commitments in accordance with agreed time, quality and cost. Key responsibilities include but are not limited to: *Coordination of small to medium change projects in line with the defined IT Delivery Framework *Support Senior Delivery Managers with the delivery of large complex projects *Manages and tracks the documentation of IT requirements which are specified from the teams within the CIO function *Working on continuous improvement processes and initiates within the IT Delivery team. *Tracking resource requirements. *Facilitating and contributing to project meetings to ensure effective decision making in support of the project. *The ability to engage a variety of stakeholders across business/product areas, IT and relevant suppliers. *The ability to build and develop effective working and influencing relationships with colleagues *Identifying and managing risks, considering the impact to the wider organisation. You must be able to demonstrate the following skills/experience: *Knowledge of project management methodologies ( Waterfall, Agile) *Experience of supporting projects and or programme work streams *Knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle *Ability to grasp and understand technical solutions and concepts *Well organised and able to prioritise workload in line with tight deadlines and work effectively under pressure *Excellent team player with ability to working closely with others to deliver results *Proven track record of working on own initiative, with the ability to introduce fresh thinking to the role and the wider team. *Strong relationship management skills *Strong written communication - business and project reports If this opportunity is of interest please apply with your most recent CV for consideration.
