I.T Helpdesk Engineer

Exciting opportunity to work within a diverse support and network solutions role throughout the North East of England. Based in Middlesbrough, my client has grown over the last 15 years to provide IT support to existing and new companies based throughout Teesside and Northern Yorkshire.

The role is a great opportunity for a 1st Line Support Engineer looking to develop their skillset and progress within their career. The position will involve providing professional levels of 1st line support for clients over the phone and through bespoke helpdesk software.

Most of the role will be office based however there will be times when visits to client sites for direct support and meetings will be required. The ideal candidate will be comfortable in a client facing support role and present themselves in a friendly, confident and professional manner.

Current experience within network installation, server support/configuration and all aspects of PC and server hardware is highly desirable for this role.



Responsibilities include:

** Prioritise well and work to ensure that new projects meet all deadlines so that customer service level agreements are maintained.

** Working effectively within the support team to ensure a satisfactory conclusion results from each client's enquiry.

** Providing 1st line support for clients through incoming calls and bespoke helpdesk software.



Technical Skills and Experience:

** Ownership of own vehicle and full clean driving license

** Microsoft Network and Desktop Operating Systems

** Virtualisation technologies

** Cloud based solutions

** All aspects of PC and server hardware (desktops, laptops, printers, servers, connectivity peripherals)

** Remote and onsite installation and troubleshooting procedures

** Windows Operating systems

** 1+ Years Helpdesk Support Experience
