Are you an experienced Mechanical and Electrical Installation Engineer? Are you looking for a bran new career opportunity working for a Manufacturing Global Leader? Your New Role To be successful in your role you will: -Be able to demonstrate a practical understanding of low voltage (12v) high current (100A) circuits. -Be able to demonstrate the ability to work under their own supervision, whilst also leading and training a small group of customer supplied foreign labour. -Possess a sound knowledge of mains AC electrical systems both single and 3 phase. -Possess a broad knowledge of electro/mechanical machinery. -Possess a good telephone manner and be able to express a technical opinion to both technical and non-technical audiences. -Be willing to prepare small presentations when necessary, to technical and non-technical audiences and be capable of preparing written training material for technical consumption. -Be able to understand a circuit diagram as well as create these together with wiring instructions, testing procedures for non-technical assembly staff. -Have the aptitude to appreciate motor driven interleaving mechanical systems. -Computer literacy would be a distinct advantage though not completely necessary. -Familiarity with motor vehicle electrics would stand and applicant in good stead. -Be willing to travel worldwide, at short notice and for periods normally no more than 14 days. -A current clean driving license is essential (Private Light Goods) with towing experience, as extensive travel at short notice will be required to undertake site visits to service , repair , deliver , install and commission equipment at our worldwide customers grounds. -Be experienced in installing/servicing and fault finding on small electro/mechanical and electronic equipment. Hours of work are Mon-Thurs 8am-4.30pm and Friday 8am-1pm 25 days holiday per year plus B/Hs Contributory Pension Scheme after three month probationary completion.
