The Role This is a hands-on role, for an individual experienced in being involved in the day to day operation, maintenance and support of an organisation's IT services. Your main duties will include: Proactively managing the various IT platforms needed to support the organisation to ensure they are running efficiently and mitigating against any potential issues Identification, diagnosis and resolution of IT issues in a timely and efficient manner Managing the delivery of new technology - overseeing the full technical life cycle from software evaluation through to going live Project management including development of new IT requirements and organisational expansion as major investment is planned in IT infrastructure throughout 2018 Relationship manage a number of external IT service providers including infrastructure solutions IT Service support, this will involve a hardware and software based skill set You will have a proven ability to assist, design, develop and support systems. You will have an approachable manner, with a willingness to turn your hand to whatever task presents itself and be able to display flexibility in response to changing priorities. You will be a creative and innovative thinker with the ability and foresight to develop innovative IT solutions and systems within a business critical environment. Essential Experience Implementing and co-ordinating systems, policies and procedures Systems monitoring, control and upgrading servers and client pcs Previous experience supervising and mentoring IT team members Hardware specification, installation and configuration Ability to assess, resolve or escalate all IT related enquiries Strong communication skills – the ability to interact with non-IT staff at all levels Ability to organise and prioritise workload Technical knowledge: Understanding of an ITIL Support environment Windows server 2008/2012, Windows OS MS Exchange Server 2007, 2010, up to 2013 SQL Server Follow Us: We post updates, vacancies & industry news on a daily basis on Twitter (@beITresourcing) and Linked In.
