IT Incident & Problem Analyst
Our Client, a growing financial services organisation is seeking an IT Incident and Problem Analyst to join their team based in Edinburgh; this role involves supporting the IT Service function in the management of Incidents and Problems. Responsibilities will include: *Proactive approach to incident management *Ensuring restoration of service within target resolution time and risk mitigation is put in place to prevent recurrence. *Effective communication throughout the lifecycle of incidents. *Undertaking trend analysis on incident and problem data. *Update of problem records from vendor reporting. *Creation of regular weekly and monthly IT Service reporting. Skills/experience required: *Experience of managing incidents in financial services industry. *Good knowledge of ITIL v 3 (preferably ITIL V3 Foundation qualified). *Well organised and able to prioritise workload in line with tight deadlines and work effectively under pressure. *Highly numerate, with excellent analytical and problem solving skills and attention to detail. *Customer focused. *Proven track record of working on own initiative, with the ability to introduce fresh thinking to the role and the wider team. *Strong relationship management skills. *Excellent written communication.
