Location: South East - anywhere within a 20 mile radius of London
Package: £30k basic & vehicle, company credit card, Bonus, BUPA, based from home, iPhone, overtime (Standard earn £40k+ in your first year)
With so many electrical roles around at present - both permanent and contract - what would make this opportunity stand out? This represents a truly unique opportunity to come in to a company where they are looking for far from the finished article - they are looking for a qualified, hungry electrical professional who is looking to develop their career to the ''next level''.
We have a track record of placing people in this company over the last 7 years all across the UK and - massively uncommon in 2017 - every single person (that's 9!) are still there with 4 of these being promoted in to management or projects. That alone tells its own story. It offers you the opportunity to be trained up on massively unique equipment (things you will not have come across before) which will undoubtedly further your career. And with the package - we have had people earn £45k in their first year with the on call and overtime - as well as BUPA, vehicle, bonus, company credit card, iPhone etc? it makes it a very unique opportunity.
We have worked with some of the major electrical players in the world over the years, these are organisation the one that I have the most interest in from candidates historically. A multinational company who are present in every continent apart from Antarctica, but who are organically growing in the UK so as the feeling of a growing SME (expanded by 25% in the last 4 years) in the UK which gives it a unique feel.
They have their own manufactured which is provided in to numerous different sectors across the world and have to train new staff up around such equipment - complex stuff and things that will be completely new to your skill set.
Too good to be true:
I get reading all the above makes it sound exceptional - it is. However, with everything they put in to their staff, they will expect their staff to be professional, friendly, and technically strong and always looking to go the ''Extra mile'' for their customer. So your fit within their existing, highly successful team is imperative. As this is a field role, there are times you may have to stay away (they work on the basis you are home 80% of the time, away 20% - all company expensed) and due to the nature of some of their clients, some work is out of hours (overtime paid of course in such circumstances). As mentioned, the fact every member of staff we have placed is still there shows that the good points far outweigh the odd night away.
The role itself:
So what is the actual role itself? Well, this company have a team of service and commissioning engineers across the UK who service and commission there equipment, they operate in various sectors across the UK and due to growth they are looking to bring in another in to their team to carry out such duties. You will be trained up on all their equipment in what is a customer facing role, with you usually working with directors of client companies and looking to build relationships.
Traditionally, we usually look to place electrical professionals who are looking to develop their skillset on bigger, more complex equipment or for people who have hit a ''glass ceiling'' where they are. You MUST hold a JIB Gold card for this role - this is essential. And we are looking for someone who, ideally, has industrial / commercial experience. You must have first class customer service and have a real hunger and desire to develop your career.
If this seems like an opportunity that appeals, send your CV through and I will be more than happy to go through this in more detail?.
