Toolstation is one of Britain's fastest growing suppliers of tools, accessories and building supplies to the trade, home improvers and self-builders. With a multi-channel offering, Toolstation customers can buy online, through a dedicated UK call centre, via a mobile website or at one of 280 branches across the UK. Toolstation are currently opening 3-4 branches a month.

We are currently looking for an E-commerce Merchandiser to join our busy Digital Marketing department based in Head Office, Bridgwater.

The successful candidate will be responsible for optimising products on toolstation.com driving sales by creating an improved shopping experience that is attractive, engaging and profitable.

The online merchandiser will be responsible for:

* Merchandising department and search pages, analysing sales data to maximise product positioning and availability
* Provide insights to the buying department highlighting online shopping trends and top sellers
* Provide insights to the business on our best and worst performing products so we can improve our product offering and feed
back on product defects to suppliers.
* Use insights to ensure effective product placement and call to actions
* Work with designers to develop and sign off creative for use across Toolstation.com whilst being consistent with other
marketing material.
* Regularly updating website content in line with our catalogue cycle
* Liaising with suppliers to enrich our product data including product videos, images and detailed product descriptions
* Work with suppliers and our IT department to produce feature pages that are visually appealing and informative
* Monitor and maintain website standards
* Review and feedback on competitor website features, trends and functionality

The ideal candidate will have a passion for online merchandising and a high level of IT literacy including Excel, Google Analytics, and other software packages.

Strong mathematics and data analysis skills are essential. You must also be well organised, commercially aware and customer focused.

This role will be a 40 hour full time position based in our Head Office in Bridgwater.
