We are looking for a Site Engineer - Break-Fix / IMAC / MAC's based in London, to join a large IT Services provider on a customer site. This is permanent opportunity and we are looking for a skilled and very customer orientated candidate for this position.

Provide hardware break-fix and IMAC services to client end users.

Manage incoming user requests (email, phone and in person) to resolve incidents associated with (but not limited to) the following services:-

*Diagnostics and problem identification
*Replacement of user-swappable components
*Unit replacement
*Safely remove malfunctioning component/system leaving the users workspace in a safe state.
*Complete a like for like replacement
*Join the device to the client domain
*Run the required setup scripts/processes to fully configure the machines
*Apply latest Windows updates
*Place equipment onto the required desk
*Connect power and network cables at the desk location.
*Where applicable connection to the correct WLAN network

Work with client to refine existing processes or build on existing processes to plan and enact moves. These activities shall include, but not be limited to:-

*Survey of existing location to identify equipment to be relocated (including computers, displays, telephones, mice, keyboards, etc.).
*Survey of new location to where user is moving to in order to ensure network points, power, vacant location, etc. is in order to support move.
*Compiling of patching request for ASOS support teams to patch in comms rooms.
*Sign-off procedures to verify move has taken place successfully.
*Escalation procedures/roll back procedures if moves are unsuccessful

Planned departmental and floor moves would normally be considered as a project and would be undertaken outside of BAU hours and would be planned as overtime

Execute daily and weekly technical tasks, including various reports and queries, to help monitor and mitigate customer issues.

Liaise with other team members/managers to resolve more complex problems, escalating where necessary.

*Education - GCSE or equivalent.
*Full and clean UK Driving License

Preferred Qualifications:
*CompTIA A

Experience and Skills
*Understanding the importance of business processes and compliance
*Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
*Microsoft Office knowledge - Word, Excel and Outlook
*Customer support skills
*Experience of user MAC's
*Good all round understanding of hardware maintenance/break-fix

*Punctual, reliable and well presented
*Good organisation skills & time management
*Passionate, professional, with a 'can-do' attitude at all times
*Able to evaluate information quickly, identify key issues and formulate conclusions based on sound practical judgement, experience and common sense
*Able to build productive working relationships with local and remote personnel based on respect and good rapport
*Communicates honestly, openly, and consistently well showing attention to detail and remaining calm and patient when under pressure
*Possesses the physical stamina, drive, and perseverance to handle pressure well
*Willing and able to deal with problem situations on a daily basis
