Infrastructure Solutions Design Engineer
Are you an experienced Infrastructure Design/Project Engineer? Are you ready to make the step up into an Infrastructure Architect role? If so, this could be a great opportunity for you.
You will join a small team of Infrastructure Architects, and take ownership of delivering infrastructure projects for a range of internal and client solutions, some small (few days work) and some big (several months work). It's predominantly focused on Microsoft technologies, VMware, Cisco Networking and Linux technologies.
The environment is fast paced, with an impressive modern infrastructure stack and a culture of collaboration, knowledge sharing and striving for continued improvement.
The company take technology seriously and are working with the latest technologies across their infrastructure estate. This role will suit someone who will thrive in a fast paced busy infrastructure architecture/design team.
The successful candidate will need to have proven experience delivering infrastructure design projects, including discovery, requirements gathering, estimates, high level design, low level design, strong documentation and be proficient in the following technologies/tasks:-
* Windows Server 2003/2008/20012 R2
* MS Exchange/O365
* Networking principles WAN connectivity, VLAN, Routing & Clustering
* Storage technologies (SAN/NAS (iSCSI))
* VMWare ESX/vSphere
* Active Directory
* HP Blade Servers
