I'm working on behalf of a global client, who are looking to recruit a Information Security Analyst (Operations & Assurance) to join their Information Security team in Brighton.

The Information Security Analyst, would sit in a team that supports development of policy and standards at a group level to provide guidance on their operational security enforcement and resilience.

I'm working on behalf of a global client, who are looking to recruit a Information Security Analyst (Operations & Assurance) to join their Information Security team in Brighton.

The Information Security Analyst, would sit in a team that supports development of policy and standards at a group level , which provides guidance on their operational security enforcement and resilience.

This is ideal opportunity for a well rounded Information Security professional, with both technical (operational experience), who is looking to move into a broader assurance or oversight role.

* Please note - recent university graduates would be considered with no industry experience but must be aligned to Information Security (e.g. BSc/MSc in Information Security/Cyber Security)

Profile

Key attributes:

  • Worked in a Security operations or similar technical/Security environment (ideally as an Information Security Analyst)
  • Experience of installing and using security software, ideally assessment and configuration tools (i.e. automated vulnerability scanners, security auditing tools, network vulnerability tools, firewall rule evaluation, SIEM etc.)
  • Proven knowledge of Information Security, including good understanding of associated technologies and architectures

not limited to Security Operations; SIEM, Database Security, Application Security, IAM (Identity and Access Management) Cloud architecture, Encryption, Data Loss Prevention, Endpoint (Antivirus/Antimalware), network security (Firewall, IDS/IPS), Vulnerability management, Incident Management.

Desirable attributes:

Desirable:

  • Working with outsourced providers and 3rd parties
  • PCI DSS knowledge
  • Exposure to ISO27001 and implementing or contributing to the creation of an ISMS
  • Systems design and development from business requirements analysis
  • Development of security standards and policies
  • Security risk management, Security Audit or Assurance
