Technical Architect - Java

Austin Fraser has a brand new role for an experienced Technical Leader to join an overall team of 50 with a view to become an influential Leader in a localised team and grow it over the next 6-12 months.

The technology stack is modern and most of the work is green field with an opportunity to work with Big Data/Microservices technologies.

This position is unique in the sense that it offers the opportunity to take ownership of a large greenfield project that is part of a larger 6 year roadmap.

The business is international and has their technical hub based out of Camberley where the larger team works in a Agile way and always has all the resources available to them.

They are currently offering flexible working with good benefits and the support from a strong management team to skill transfer.

This company has been established for over 35 years globally and have been recognised for many awards for their solid work in the industry.

The position is based in their Surrey/Hampshire border office with free onsite parking so therefore, commutable from Reading, Guildford, Winchester, Woking and surrounding areas.

In this role you will not only be responsible for keeping a clear road map but also contribute to new ideas of how to adapt to ever-changing software requirements.

Their Technology stack consists of the following technologies;

-Java

-J2EE

-Spring

-Microservices

-Big Data

-Agile - SAFe

My client appreciates the fact that not everyone would have worked with all of these technologies so applications welcome from candidates with different technical background and not all of the above.

In return for your expertise you would join an organisation that recognises talent and has won lots of awards for their training and development.

For further information and a detailed discussion and an extended job specification please contact Gavin Stephens at Austin Fraser.
