My client a successful and established logistics company based in Stroud is currently recruiting for a Part-time Credit Controller. This is a permanent part-time position working 22.5 hours per week. You will be working within a friendly and supportive environment within an open and collaborative team.
Your new role
This role has developed in order to assist the Accounts Manager with building and maintaining strong customer relationships in order to collect overdue payments and ensure aged debt is kept to a minimum. You will be responsible for sending invoices, supplier statements and reminder letters, maintaining and recording communication, liaising with internal and external staff to resolve and queries and running weekly debtor reports.
What you'll need to succeed
The successful candidate will have previous credit control experience and must be able to demonstrate excellent communication and negotiation skills. It is also important that the successful candidate has a methodical and logical approach along with strong IT and excel skills (ideally Pivots/VlookUps).
