Your new company

You will be working for a professional Public Sector company in York.

Your new role

Your new role will be varied and assist in the production of the consolidated accounts and also the Main and Supplementary Estimate returns. You will be required to manage the development of the consolidation model and support the input and productions into the consolidated account. You will maintain knowledge of relevant accounting and budgeting guidance, manage the quarterly balance and transaction reconciliations, review the reconciliation processes and Data Collection Tool and data requirements and also forecast outturn.

What you'll need to succeed

To be successful you will need to ideally be an AAT/CCAB part qualified accountant or be qualified by experience, with good technical accounting knowledge. You must be able to analyse large data sets, have excellent IT skills and have experience using accountancy systems. It is desirable you have public sector or non-for-profit organisation experience but it is not essential.
