ICT Support Engineer - 1st line - London

IT / Support / Technician / 1st line / Software / Hardware / Field based / Tickets/

1st line IT Support Engineer required for a leading client based in London, to provide support for end users across the business.

You must have experience of POS solutions / Mobile POS support!!!

Key Responsibilities of the role:

  • Record, categorise, monitor, and resolve service requests and incidents
  • Responsible for handling support of service requests which relate to all technology including; workstations, servers, printers, hardware and software, and user set up
  • EPOS system support experience is essential
  • Escalate more complex issues to 2nd/3rd line support
  • Provide excellent level of customer service for all queries

Key Skills of the role

  • Previous experience providing hands on 1st line support to end users
  • Experience with Microsoft Office packages, Windows OS, and SharePoint
  • Good analytical and numerical skills
  • Excellent organisation skills; ability to pay close attention to detail
  • Enthusiastic approach and keen to learn
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; the ability to communicate effectively with internal teams and end users

The salary for this position is between £20,000 - £24,000 depending on experience and my client offer an excellent benefits package
