Robert Half Financial Services are currently working with an established Private Equity firm based in central London, helping them source an experienced Accounts Payable Manager with very good knowledge of Concur to implement the system into their firm for a minimum of 9 months.

The successful candidate should:

- Have led, or been part responsible for the implementation of a new software, Concur would be advantageous.
- Have excellent knowledge of Concur.
- Be comfortable training a wider team.
- Have previously worked on the Accounts Payable function, preferably as the Accounts Payable Manager.

The role:

The firm seeks to recruit an experienced Finance Contractor, ideally an Accounts Payable Manager or someone who is very familiar with the function, who to join their Clients Account team in London. This position is to expand the small existing team and so the person must be proactive to ensure the best performance of the whole team.
You shall be reporting directly into the Group Financial Controller. It is essential that you will have good communication skills and a positive can-do' attitude at all times.
Relevant experience is a must for this role, as the ideal candidate will have a thorough understanding of accounts payable, basic accounting reconciliations, good spreadsheet skills, is proactive in driving process and system change and also has a very good understanding of the set up and processing on Concur Invoice and Expense management systems.

As the Accounts Payable Manager some of your key responsibilities will include:

- Posting and reconciling Reed & Mackay Invoices
- Managing the London and overseas staff re-reimbursement process to ensure personal costs are reclaimed from employees
- Look at the internal processes, for example the Reed & MacKay billing process, and look to simplify and streamline these processes
- Assist in updating the current Concur Expense system to ensure that the system set up is correct and complete
- Help with the international implementation of the Concur Expense IT OCR tool, as well as training staff to use the system
- Assist the cash management assistant in reviewing and implementing a new process/system for managing currency transactions
- Assist in the sourcing and the implementation of a document management system to allow the storage of historical invoices / corporate documentation online

Based in Central London.

Rate: 200 - 300 a day.
