Our client, a leading technologies distributor, on the back of continued expansion, are looking for an experienced IT Support Engineer to respond to IT incidents by providing solutions in an ITIL environment. Using your excellent communication skills, you will act as the point of escalation for first line service desk analysts as well as liaising with 3rd parties to resolve issues.

This role requires a good understanding or ITIL processes, Windows Server and network infrastructure. This will be combined with a good understanding of VMWare/Hyper V environment and multi-site networking utilising VPLS/MPLS technology. Other technical experience would be of network administration and infrastructure development, Windows operating systems and mobile technologies.

As well as demonstrating experience of these technical skills over a number of years you will be able to demonstrate your ability to work under pressure within a team, with a strong focus on continued improvements, good time management and the ability to work unsupervised.
