A FTSE 100 business is looking for a Group Reporting Manager. The Group Reporting Manager will report to the Director of Group Reporting and manage a team of four qualified accountants. The line manager is looking for someone ACA trained, ideally from a Big Four background and will consider applicants either looking to make the first move out of Practice at a Manager level or someone with some post-qualified industry experience.

This is a truly global business so the Group Reporting Manager will work across an international remit, pulling together financial information from across the globe. The role will require someone who is both technically very strong but who also has first rate communication and influencing skills.

Key responsibilities in the role include but are not limited to:

* Consolidation of the Group's strategic plans and budgets
* Producing monthly cash flow / working capital reports and analysis
* Preparing financial analysis supporting the Group's results and responding to analyst/investor questions
* Review of the Group's external financial presentations
* Taking responsibility for the Group statutory consolidation on a quarterly basis, including acquisitions, disposals, reserves, pensions, provisions, investments, reconciliation to management accounts
* Preparation of the Group's external reporting statements
* Monitoring and validating local statutory accounts preparation for the Group worldwide
* Preparing financial reports for the Board
* Act as the key liaison with Big Four Auditors
* Partake in a variety of ad hoc and strategic projects

As mentioned, the ideal profile is someone Big Four Qualified (ACA) with 3-5 years post-qualified experience. The client will consider Managers/Senior Managers looking to make the first move out of Practice alongside individuals who have gained post-qualified experience in industry.

Exposure to large complex businesses within Audit or Industry is essential as is strong technical skills in IFRS.
