An ever-evolving heritage. A truly exciting future. Two of the world's most iconic brands. Jaguar Land Rover is revered across the globe. Continually pushing the boundaries of innovation and redefining the benchmark for excellence, we set the standards others want to follow. We want to keep it that way too. Which is where you join the journey.

When it comes to the future, our Advanced Manufacturing Engineering (AME) team is planning it today. Regularly working up to three years ahead of production, they help translate, plan and implement Product Development outputs into vehicle manufacture, transforming our ambitious plans into tangible and exhilarating realities.

From the luxuriously agile Jaguar F-TYPE to the innovative CX-17, our vehicles - famed for the revolutionary technologies they employ - are amongst some of the most desired and revered in the world today. Your constant challenge, working as part of our diverse and multi-skilled AME team, will be to ensure our iconic brands continue to captivate the world tomorrow.

The Advanced Manufacturing Engineering Business Office serves the wider manufacturing organisation with multiple activities coordinating processes across the business. As part of the Global Manufacturing Strategy team you'll support and facilitate Manufacturing functions and departments in the development, refinement, and publication of the Jaguar Land Rover manufacturing strategy. This includes the generation and publication of implementation plans, costs, and layouts that support our overall business strategy both domestically and internationally.

As Strategy Planning Engineer you'll lead manufacturing feasibility studies and requirements driven by Business Creation and Delivery System (BCDS) programmes and Product Creation and Delivery System (PCDS) programmes. This will be performed in line with the Global Footprint Strategy and in liaison with AME Programme and Manufacturing Technologies during the study phase. You'll be leading the strategic and tactical studies in line with cycle plan activities and the requirements of the business. Acting as representative for the department, you'll be the liaison across the AME Departments and Technologies to ensure all interests are represented and taken into account.

You'll lead the handover process of programmes to programme management team and the implementation of the Vertical Integration strategy and tactical Make vs Buy studies. You'll be at the forefront of projects such as making feasibility and key technical assumptions for all International Manufacturing projects, and supporting the Manufacturing Risk Management in line with Enterprise Risk Management reporting system.

You'll come to this role with relevant manufacturing technical skills and a good understanding of the business. You'll need to have management experience as well as experience of strategy planning and implementation. This will supported by your excellent organisational, planning, and time management talents.

In addition, you'll demonstrate logical thinking, great attention to detail, and a creative approach when solving problems. Besides the ability to work in the detail, it will also be beneficial to have a wider business 'big picture' view. Finally, you'll have the capacity to build strong relations across the organisation owing to your good communication and negotiating skills.

Bring all this to the home of premium innovation, and you'll find the opportunities to further your career with a world-class team, a discounted car purchase and lease scheme for you and your family, membership of a competitive pension plan and performance related bonus scheme. All this and more makes Jaguar Land Rover the perfect place to continue your journey.
