Bridge College is looking for enthusiastic Tutors to inspire guide and support students in their unique non-residential FE College. Our mission at Bridge College is to create a learning environment that is inclusive and will help the students make a successful transition to adulthood through developing their skills, independence and confidence.

As our creative and performing arts tutor you will be given the creative flexibility to deliver tailored lessons, working with students aged 16 to 25 years with disabilities, complex needs and autism. Each class head count is small allowing you to create personalised plans for each student meaning you really will make a difference.

The role:

  • Developing and delivering a progressive and innovative curriculum which clearly evidences accreditation opportunities and the RARPA process in the area of horticulture and work related learning.
  • Design and manage person centred individual learning plans, setting comprehensive targets for the students with the aid of our dedicated support staff within the classroom and team of Therapists, Psychologist and Healthcare workers.
  • You will recognise their potential and inspire student to achieve and experience new challenges

Starting salary is £22,181 for 41 weeks per year. It is essential that candidates hold a recognised teaching qualification and have experience of SEN.
