SEN Learning Support Assistant

As a SEN Learning Support Assistant you will be working 1:1 and in small group sessions with young learners who have an additional special educational need. There may be children who have a range of needs, some may be on the Autism Spectrum and have emotional, social or emotional difficulties. Other children may have physical disabilities so may require a different type of support. You should be a confident, emphatic and versatile individual who can be understanding to individual children's needs and support them in an appropriate manner.

This SEN Learning Support Assistant role would ideally suit someone who is considering a role as a future teacher or educational psychologist as the experience you will gain in this role will be invaluable to helping you progress within your future career.
