Marketing Executive (Travel) A leading travel management organisation is currently looking to recruit a Marketing Executive within their Travel Marketing team. Ideal candidates will come from a Business Development or Social Media Marketing background within Travel, Airline or Hospitality and have B2B or B2C experience. This individual will be organising the Business Development for the Sales Managers, producing social media posts, managing the content for the website, and supporting the delivery of the B2B travel sector marketing plan. Salary between; £25,000 - £30,000 per annum plus benefits and bonus, this role is based in the City of London. The aim for the next 1 - 2 years is to help grow and maximise the businesses commercial opportunity in the travel sector globally through PR, events and marketing campaigns. Key objectives: * Be involved with the creation, delivery and evaluation of activities in the marketing plan targeting key target audiences in the travel sector * Help to create a compelling and engaging calendar of travel marketing communications activity * Evaluate the businesses involvement in conferences, events and awards, and lead the planning of any sponsorship commitments or opportunities * Define and execute compelling content marketing campaigns that drive awareness and create opportunities for conversation * Be actively involved in ensuring our expertise in travel is well represented through social media channels * To liaise with the digital marketing team to ensure travel sector content is updated on the website, new content and insights added, landing pages for other digital activity are effective and suggestions for further improvements and enhancements implemented * Input into the monthly marketing performance reports to demonstrate the value of marketing activities, containing all relevant metrics and insights for the sector are included and shared * Using data in Salesforce, analyse the sources of opportunities created, won or lost in the quarter * Maintain a list of all our existing travel clients, with insight around what we do for them, in what geographies, leveraging which propositions along with how and where we are able to use this information * Be a brand guardian for all sales, marketing and campaign materials created * Support the management of the marketing budget by ensuring all POs are raised and expenditure is recorded appropriately * Support the wider sales and marketing team with any adhoc initiatives and projects If you are a Marketing Assistant or Executive and have prior experience in Travel, Airline or Hospitality - please apply.
