Evolve’s Accountancy and Financial Services Client based in Edinburgh city centre are looking for a confident and knowledgeable Cyber Security Assistant Manager to join them on a permanent basis. This position is a key hire as they look to expand their external offering to clients to encompass cyber security and by developing the cyber security functions, procedures and systems within the organisation itself. Working as part of a small team this is a role which requires an individual who can proactively lead by example and manage a growing team of cyber security professionals. This will include business development, networking and presenting our clients brand in the best possible way. A sample of responsibilities will include: Managing all aspects of client cyber security assignments Managing the workload of the team as well as leading by example on your own tasks Supporting the development and growth of the cyber security offering Managing client relationships Developing the brand through business development techniques Given this is a highly varied role we are looking for an individual with both the technical abilities as well as the personality to work in a dynamic and fast paced position. The successful Cyber Security Assistant Manager will have the following technical skills and experience: Educational qualifications/certifications in IT and Information Security or equivalent commercial experience Proven track record in managing teams of technology professionals Knowledge and experience of managing client relationships 1st class communication and presentation abilities Experience in the technology systems within accounting and finance would be beneficial In return my client are offering a highly competitive salary of around £45,000 per annum plus excellent benefits and a collaborative and friendly working environment where training and personal development are actively encouraged.
