Our client, is a dynamic Engineering company that is dedicated to providing quality products and services for industries such as Rail, Automotive & Energy sectors. They are looking for and ambitious and driven sales engineer to join their expanding team.

You will be responsible for maximizing sales and profitability of products and services to new and existing clients through effective use of telephone communication, internet and social media platforms.

Responsibilities

- Plan and prioritise personal sales activities.
- Quote and sell the services of products & operations.
- Use Sales and Engineering experience to prepare and submit quotes and win new orders from a diverse range of customers.
- Interpret technical and fabrication drawings to discuss solutions with new and existing customers.
- Maintain and grow current and new customer working relationships.
- Follow up outstanding quotes in a professional manner.
- Actively seek to improve our efficiency and sales performance through innovative means.

Skills

- Must have working experience within a targeted Sales role.
- Applicants must have estimating/sales experience within a mechanical/engineering industry.
- Must have the ability to read, interpret technical and fabrication drawings.
- Must highly computer literate with Microsoft packages.
- Excellent organizational and numeracy skills.
- Ability to plan, organize and prioritise workload.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Must be self-motivated and self-driven.
- Excellent telephone manner and customer focused.
- Possess an eye for detail.
