IT Support Administrator Oxfordshire This company manufactures medications to supply the veterinary industry. They are a leader in their field and have an enthusiastic team with lots of opportunity for growth. Job Description: You will be responsible for application, server, and network support, problem determination and solution deployment - with focus on proactive analysis, improving recovery time, refinement of monitoring and incident reduction, as well as implementing creative strategic solutions. On a day-to-day basis, you will be expected to respond to tickets from the helpdesk system related to maintaining the various I.T. systems in place and also work on larger projects as required. You will be working as the sole in-house I.T. professional and will liaise with 3rd party software and hardware vendors as well as reach out to your counterpart at a sister-company located in Canada when required for troubleshooting. Your work will enable the company to run efficiently and effectively by maintain a stable and progressive I.T. infrastructure. Requirements and Qualifications: - You will be a self-starter and the type of person who loves challenges. - You will have completed a post-secondary degree\diploma in computer science or equivalent experience and will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in an I.T. support role. - You will have demonstrated strong skills in problem analysis and solution determination, time management, organization, and communications.
