IT Support - Bath - £40,000 to £45,000

Overview

Reporting directly to the IT Manager you will be primarily responsible for all IT network and communication services, maintenance of servers, CRM, phone system, internet, web based services, Licensing and computer hardware.

You must be currently working on and supporting an Azure environment with Office 365 and have undertaken builds and migrations and have exposure to AWS.


Main responsibilities

  • Tier 1/3 SPoC for all IT requests and support.
  • Incident, Problem and Request, logging and management.
  • Monitoring of all IT core infrastructure, Services and Tools.
  • Upgrades and security backups of hardware and software systems;
  • Software licensing management and Compliance.
  • Providing users with appropriate support and advice.
  • Maintain and monitor servers, including daily offsite backups of all data.
  • CRM / Shared calendar maintenance and reporting.
  • Setup and maintenance of Endpoint devices.
  • AZURE, Office 365 and Google Drive Management and Maintenance
  • Google / One Drive cloud storage maintenance and reporting.
  • Asset management and Reporting.
  • Monitor and maintain the IT support system. Assess and prioritise IT support tasks.
  • Communicate regularly with all staff reporting on progress of support issues and manage regular customer satisfaction surveys.
  • liaising with Suppliers and vendors to facilitate, Support and Project delivery.
  • Ensuring and where applicable enforcing and advising on security from internal and external THREATS.
  • Report ideas on improving efficiency.
  • Out of office hour's critical support.
  • Keeping up to date with the latest technologies.



Skills/Attributes required

  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Tools and Services, CRM, Networking, windows server 2003/2008, Win 10 Pro, Office, Networking.
  • Azure / Office 365 Administration and Configuration
  • Azure domain and Environments knowledge
  • Desirable Knowledge of HTML, relational databases, .Net, SFDC.
  • Strong sense of customer service
  • Good organisational skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Computer related Degree Preferable
  • Good analytical and problem solving skills
  • Confidence in decision-making
  • A good team-playing mentality
  • An ability to work to tight deadlines and within constraints
  • Good prioritisation skills and be flexible enough to adapt plans
