Financial Capability Officer
Full Time: 35 Hours per week with consideration to job share/part time hours. Fixed term: May 2018 Closing Date: 17th November 2017. Location: Various Housing Associations & venues across Glasgow The Glasgow BIG Partnership for Welfare Project is a city wide project which is funded by the National Lottery through the Big Lottery Fund Scotland for 3 years. ng homes is the lead partner in this exciting partnership between Glasgow City Council, Greater Easterhouse Money Advice Project (GEMAP)and other housing providers. The overall aim is to enable us to respond to increasing financial pressures experienced by low income vulnerable households and provide them with knowledge and understanding of budgeting and increased access to financial products. We are now looking to recruit a Financial Capability Officer who will be responsible for the front line delivery of the project, supporting clients to develop a range of skills and facilitating access to appropriate financial products. Candidates will demonstrate an understanding of financial capability and will preferably have previous experience of delivering financial advice services. Successful candidates should have experience of working with local community partners in delivering services.
