Steve Lord is recruiting for a GUI Software Engineer to work for a pioneering medical device company from their head quarters in Warwickshire, UK. The GUI Software Engineer will be working on a full time permanent basis. This client is offering an opportunity to join and work for an innovative medical device company, who have a passion and vision to improve patients lives for the better through the use of their products. Overall function of the job:The primary function of the GUI software engineer is to work on the development and evolution of the UI of the company products (medical device). You will be working to internal quality systems procedures and following the software life-cycle standard for medical devices. As a GUI software engineer you should have demonstrable skills, experience and qualifications: Degree qualified, preferably in engineering or IT Experience in delivering complex, real-time control software solutions Knowledge of software lifecycle models and standards (eg BN ES 62304) Previous GUI design experience C#, .Net WPF and XAML -Agile/Scrum methodology -Realtime multi-thread systems Main responsibilities: -Design the GUI for current and future company products -Collecting inputs from stakeholders to define the design in line with architecture -Documenting the UI architecture and design Please note that your CV should show exact dates of employment (month and year) and any gaps of a month or more should be explained.
