Are you looking to begin a career in IT? A successful retailer based in Walsall are looking for a Junior Application Support Analyst or a recent Graduate to join them as they embark on a technology refresh.

My client have gone through a significant period of underfunding within IT and there is now a major programme of work being undertaken to upgrade their entire suite of applications, infrastructure and business processes.

An Application Support Analyst is required to provide support across multiple sites within the UK. You will be able to demonstrate;

* Passion for IT, specifically software
* Ability to learn new technologies
* Excellent communication skills
* Experience providing excellent customer service
* Knowledge and understanding of Microsoft operating systems
* Knowledge of physical and virtual servers (Microsoft 2000, 2003, 2008, 2012 and Hyper V)
* Good knowledge of IT hardware (PCs, printers etc.)

The successful Junior Support Analyst will have the opportunity to take responsibility for issues, liaising with users across the business and providing excellent customer service.

This is a very exciting time to join a business going through a substantial amount of change, the successful Support Analyst will work with the Support Manager to help implement structure and put in place streamlined processes which will enable the team to be more efficient.
