DevOps Engineer - Global Software Company
DevOps Engineer required to join a Global Software Company based in Edinburgh City Centre. The company in question have a hugely dynamic development environment, trying their level best to adhere to the principles of test driven development and service orientated architecture.
You will be working closely with the development and operations teams responsible for setting up automated deployment pipelines and working to reduce release cycle times. You will have to think on your feet and hit the ground running, with a lot of scope it is your opportunity to shape the way that the Infrastructure is managed and have your input on key decisions made throughout the entire lifecycle of the product system.
There will be further responsibilities liaising with Support and development teams based throughout the US, taking their thoughts and ideas into consideration and relaying this back to your teams in Edinburgh.

*** Liaising closely with the development and operations teams to assist and consult on design and ongoing development on the new delivery system.
*** Setting up automated deployment pipelines and reducing release cycle times.
*** Migration of systems and operations from desktop to cloud.
*** Develop and design new delivery platform system
*** Windows servers and desktop
*** Knowledge and experience with Azure
*** Experience with Standard Application Lifecycle Management (ALM)
*** Proven Software Development Experience
*** Work experience with DevOps tools: Puppet/ Chef
*** SQL Server
*** System Centre Configuration Manager
