A Regulatory Compliance Engineer role has arisen at Thales e-Security based in Crawley, as part of a small Regulatory Compliance team. The purpose of this key role is to carry out Regulatory Compliance verification, validation and qualification tasks during product development, release and sustaining phases. Our products are complex electronics products and we need to ensure compliance to EU, North American, Australasian and international Safety, EMC, Telecom and Environmental Regulatory requirements. Thales security products mainly fall under generic IT equipment standards, therefore a large part of the verification process is the management of the test houses that test our products to the relevant international and national standards e.g. UL, TUV, TRaC. Thales e-Security is the leader in advanced data security solutions and services that deliver trust wherever information is created, shared or stored. We ensure that the data belonging to companies and government entities is both secure and trusted in any environment - on-premises, in the cloud, in data centres or big data environments - without sacrificing business agility. Thales provides everything an organisation needs to protect and manage its data, identities and intellectual property and meet regulatory compliance - through encryption, advanced key management, tokenization, privileged user control and high assurance solutions. Security professionals around the globe rely on Thales e-Security to confidently accelerate their organisation's digital transformation.
