A leading global staffing company is currently recruiting for a Global IT Director within Marketing and Communications to be responsible to help shape the future direction and establish the overall capacity of IT marketing and communication cross the wider group. This hire will be required to have an overall influence, negotiate and be a strong manager to steer senior stakeholder in future direction and develop the team. Due to the global structure of this role there will be travel required so flexibility is a must with this role.

Main tasks & responsibilities
*Establish a customer oriented, pro-active IT Director organisation that acts as a key point of contact for all IT related matters for Marketing and Communications
*Ensure IT services act as an accelerator to acquire and retain more candidates and sales
*Together with the Business Process Owners and Key Users: where there is a requirement to use a global system ensure the business processes are harmonised. Support the Head of Corporate Functions IT Business Partner in organising and running a Global Business Process Committee.
*Provide transparency on IT services to Business Customers. Work with the Business Customer in forecasting their demand, strive to influence demand volume in order to avoid peaks.
*Investigate on competition/vendors/clients innovations in order to build road map for evolution for Marketing and Communications
*Fully responsible for the forecast and budget of his/ her area of responsibility
*Understand the needs and levels of satisfaction of the Business Customers in his/ her area of responsibility. Represent the IT organisation in front of customers
*Ensure Solution Delivery Management clearly understands the Business Customer requirements and delivers the right solution
*Ensure delivered services are according to agreed service level agreements (SLA); identify SLA breaches and ensure corrective actions are implemented
*Ensure effective deployment of new and modified services, including global solutions, into the IT environment of his/ her customer. Ensure change management of end users timely communications, support and training.
*Measure process effectiveness and efficiency (business KPIs).

Minimum requirements & Personal attributes:
Education and certifications/training:
*University degree preferably in a business or technical subject or any comparable education
Professional & Leadership experience:
*Minimum 5+ years' experience in a Management position of comparable complexity.
*Ability to explain complex, technical matters in a simple 'language'
*Experience of developing and managing service level agreements with set, measured and reportable Key Performance Indicators (KPI's)
*Delivering to, and successful management of, stakeholder expectations whilst working in a fast-paced environment and to tight deadlines, budgets and resources
*Recognised achievement in delivering to a strategic agenda
