Qualified Art teacher South Birmingham January 2018 £120 - 160 per day dependant on experience Aspire People are currently working with a great school on an exciting new role in South Birmingham Starting from January 2018 the school are looking for an outstanding Art Teacher to join them on a full time, long-term basis. The School: * Rated Good in all areas by Ofsted (2016) * A mixed Secondary School that caters to students from 11-18 years old * Promoting high academic achievement in a supportive environment * A Catholic School they aim to promote students' academic, social, cultural, and spiritual development * Most recently the school has had great academic results with GCSE results improving continuously and over a third of students achieving A*-B at A-Level The Role: * You will be working three days a week delivering Key Stage 3-5 with a focus on A-Level * Responsibilities include: planning and preparing engaging lessons and ensuring that every student is progressing * The school are also keen for you to join in with extra-curricular activities * This post will be until the end of the academic year however for the right person there is the possibility for it to be extended further What you will need: * Qualified Teacher Status or QTLS * Proven experience teaching Art at Key Stage 5 is essential * A creativity for teaching innovative and engaging lessons using a variety of materials and resources * Excellent subject knowledge, communication skills and interpersonal skills Aspire People Limited provides services as an Education Agency and an Education Employment Business.
