The Care Manager will be responsible for ensuring all operations are compliant with CQC regulations at all times. Other responsibilities of a Care manager include; * Providing leadership, management and the highest level of support to the care team, to ensure the very best outcomes in everything we do * Accountability for the Health and Safety of staff and service users , ensuring all relevant policies and procedures are followed at all times providing a safe working environment * Continually review and improve processes to ensure the most effective and efficient service is being delivered * Interviewing new candidates * Auditing Medication Administration Record sheets * Take ownership of quality assurance and governance through scheduled spot checks, service reviews, internal audits and annual surveys. * Training of new Care staff following our training programme when necessary * To ensure all staff receive supervisions and appraisals * To ensure all safeguarding/protection requirements are adhered to and met * To actively participate in the growth and development of the business * To have responsibility for staff-to plan, allocate and evaluate the workload of all staff Qualifications and Experience * Hold or be working towards an NVQ Level 4 (RMA) or a QCF Level 5 Qualification in Social Care * In depth understanding of CQC assessment criteria for achieving good and Outstanding scores * Management experience of service provision in the care industry * Experience In managing people * You can demonstrate a positive vision of home care and how you will influence positive change Other Requirements * Must have a full UK driving licence * Have a clean DBS record If you feel you are the right person to become a Care Manager don't hesitate to contact us.
