Financial Analyst - Asset / Market Data Salary £32,000 - £42,000 depending on experience + Excellent Benefits An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Finance Specialist to join the Asset Data Management team with our client in Central Scotland. This role offers the opportunity to work on a variety of interesting and challenging tasks, supporting delivery, reconciliation and reporting on all aspects of Asset Data; required for a variety of purposes within Financial processes including Modelling, General ledger, Cash Flow matching and Financial Reporting disclosures. This is an excellent opportunity to widen your knowledge and develop both technical and softer skills. You will regularly work with a range of stakeholders and management across the business on a wide-range of deliverables and projects. Responsibilities: * Delivering quality information to internal and external stakeholders * Progressing multiple work items concurrently, prioritising appropriately * Identifying and implementing opportunities for process improvements including ensuring & enhancing strong controls and audit trails * Reconciliations - investigative work and managing queries * Constructively challenging and influencing a range of peers and stakeholders * Taking complex and ambiguous problems and quickly generating practical solutions * Building strong relationships internally and externally * Supporting and leading on various projects and CI work streams Skills, Qualifications & Experience: The successful candidate will possess a strong understanding of asset and market data within a TPA or financial services environment along with excellent communication skills and reconciliation experience. * Sound understanding of asset data and market data experience and / or financial reporting experience on regulated funds. * Excellent Excel skills * Attention to detail and strong relationship building skills - ability to work around and build relationships with senior internal and external stakeholders * Working in a team, sharing best practice, providing advice and training to others. * Knowledge of asset data and reporting processes is advantageous * Some awareness or familiarity of QRT Reporting * Awareness of financial services legislator and regulatory frameworks * Awareness of IFRS Reporting and Solvency II * Experience operating controls and implementing process improvements To apply, please use the Apply Online' link below.
