UI/UX Senior Designer Mobile Apps

Our client, a world leader in product innovation in Bedford is looking for an experienced mobile application web designer to join them on an exciting team who take responsibility for the design, usability and structure of the web and mobile applications for their brand.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site map for web and mobile applications.
  • Co-ordinate/ manage technical teams in order to set up technical sprints.
  • Ability to design UI across platforms, taking into consideration platform independent design requirements, such as different browser sizes and OS differences between Android and Apple.
  • Ability to draw up detailed screen design specifications.
  • Design web and mobile application visual imagery, animations and manipulate digital images in line with the company branding policy..

Ideally you'll possess credible commercial Mobile App experience and have a strong portfolio.

As UI Mobile App Designer you will have:

  • 3 years web design/digital design experience as a developer/designer and Project Manager.
  • A good understanding of web and mobile application frameworks including IOS and Android, HTML 5 and CSS3, Material Design and Apple Design Principles.
  • Strong experience in UI app design and be proficient in Photoshop, Illustrator or other visual design and wire-framing tools.
  • Any commercial experience of graphic design, animations and manipulating digital imagery would be beneficial as would experience of producing web design layouts/prototypes.
  • If you have worked with IPhone and Android UI applications wireframes/storyboards then this would benefit your application further.
