Application Support Analyst - Accounts

The situation: a growing software house has an issue. They are looking for an individual with an interest in both IT (support/helpdesk) as well as accounting and finance. You will either be a graduate, or someone with a few years’ experience. They use a particular software package that they would train you in, but your support skills must be good.

We think the solution is someone with the following skills:

Key skills

1-2 years of IT helpdesk/application support experience (or a graduate with a placement year/willing to learn)Application support/bespoke software supportKnowledge of any accounts/finance package or accounting procedures (Sage/QuickBooks etc)Excellent customer service skillsThe role

It has become available due to them expanding their department, which is a good indicator as to their growth. There are good progression options available with this role, and a lot of support and additional training.

You’ll work closely with the application support analysts as this is where this role would progress to. There’ll be exposure to back-end IT, working with developers and working with SQL and database reports.

Location: Loughborough

Salary: Up to £22,000 depending on experience + other benefits
