Product Manager - Analytical Modelling - Insurance Broking
Our client - a leading global insurance broker - is seeking a Product Manager with solid Analytical Modelling experience. Reporting to the Chief Architect and working closely with the senior technology management team you'll work with various businesses teams to define analytics roadmaps to enable our client to improve its client offering further still.
This exciting role involves:
*Identifying immediate and strategic priorities and opportunities across the client's Data and Analytics Space.
*Reviewing the existing application space and roadmaps with a view to defining the future application strategy.
*Working with technology teams to ensure that application deliveries align with the business analytics goals.
*Helping create and implement a step change in thinking of how analytics data is captured, processed, fed back and maintained for long term usage across the organisation.
*Driving the setting of policies, standards and guidelines for Analytics and working closely with technology programmes to ensure assure compliance.
*Defining a roadmap that supports the long term analytics delivery for both external clients and internal businesses.
*Working with Platform Architect and Technology teams to define the long term analytics processing capabilities.
*Understanding new innovations in analysis and how it can be applied beneficially to the Analytics team.
Required skills and experience:
*Understanding and experience of working within Business Intelligence and Data Visualization teams.
*Hands-on experience deploying analytical operating models.
*Worked on large scale projects with the ability to convert design solutions into operational business reality.
*Excellent overall practical knowledge of analytics and analytics trends.
*A good understanding of architectural concepts, methodologies and mapping approaches.
*Appreciation of software development principles and project lifecycles.
Desirable
*Familiarity with insurance platforms would be an advantage, any experience of having previously worked in Insurance related analytics business ideal.
*Experience with Cloud Services and Technologies.
