IT Service Desk Support - North Birmingham

Harvey Nash are working in partnership with a well-known brand who have recently relocated their IT function into the North side of Birmingham. These offices are currently being redeveloped into a state-of-the-art facility where the new teams can develop and grow, with teams moving into the new space from mid-November.

As the successful candidate you will be responsible for:

1. 1st line support to the business with regards to all IT related issues.

2. Retaining ownership of incidents end to end until the issue is resolved. This entails updating the users as well as chasing progress and resolution from internal and external support teams.

3. Documentation of procedures relating to 1st and 2nd line support to assist other members of the team.

4. Liaising with members of the IT department to ensure that they are kept up-to-date on relevant issues.

5. Working within Service Level Agreement (SLA) guidelines published to business community.

You must ideally be a well-spoken individual with a pleasant telephone manner and willingness to get the job done. There will be a need for flexible working hours from 08:00 - 22:00hrs (Monday - Friday) and occasional Saturday evening 17:00-21:00hrs.

Salary Range - £21,000 - £24,000 per annum
