The Software Engineer Opportunity:
The main purpose of the Software Engineer role will be to work with our core engineering team where you will be involved in the vision software engineering relating to machine vision software development, installations and solutions.
There is some requirement for flexible working hours and weekend work (overtime paid for weekend work) as required.
Software Engineer Required Knowledge & Skills:
We are looking to recruit a keen and enthusiastic Software Engineer with a desire to take a programming/software skillset and focus into an engineering environment. + A minimum of 1-2 years experience in industry
+ Knowledge of software programming languages.
+ Educated to a minimum 2.1 degree level preferably in Computer Science/ Software/Engineering related fields.
+ A logical approach to problem solving.
+ Excellent interpersonal skills ? both written and verbal.
+ Well organised, ability to work to deadlines and a high attention to detail.
+ Ability to prioritise a heavy workload.
+ Ability and willingness to work as part of a team.
+ Clean and full UK driving licence.
Equally important will be the candidates? intellect, willingness to learn, ability to build relationships, putting themselves in others? shoes, while always making a positive impact with our clients and each other.
+ Knowledge of machine vision/image processing.
+ Knowledge of robotics/automation
Salary: Starting from £31,000 + £3,000 bonus (OTE £34,000) based on company performance
Holiday: 20 days per year plus bank holidays, rising to 22 after 3 years in continuous employment and 23 days after 5 years in continuous employment, plus public holidays
