Location: Stoke on Trent

Salary: £35,000 - £50,000 including excellent benefits

A talented C#.NET Web Developer with knowledge of C# ASP.NET MVC is sought by a great Stoke on Trent software house who are enjoying a successful year and are now looking to expand. The company develops a great range of software products for the Retail Energy Sector and the success of these products is the foundation of the company's expansion / growth.

The Role

As a C#.NET Web Developer on the team you will be involved in challenging projects and will be working alongside a talented and enthusiastic development team. You will be encouraged to play a key role in moving the company forward, taking pride in your work with technologies like the latest .NET framework, ASP.NET MVC 4 & 5, HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript.

Skills / Experience

The successful C#.NET Web Developer should have the following:

  • Solid commercial web development experience - C# ASP.NET MVC
  • Good knowledge of databases - SQL, T-SQL
  • Exposure to Entity Framework and LINQ
  • Knowledge of AJAX and Service Orientated Architecture (SOA)
  • Good analytical skills

Desirables

  • Knowledge of usability, accessibility and W3C standards
  • Experience working with Front End web technologies - HTML5 and CSS3
  • Experience with JavaScript / jQuery / prototype
  • Good understanding of Enterprise architectural patterns
